Duke of Edinburgh Silver Success

This week, a brilliant group of Cookstown High School students tackled their Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award expedition—and what an adventure it was! 

Over three days and two nights, they journeyed from the base of Slieve Gallion across the Sperrins towards Gortin, braving tough terrain and some seriously soggy weather.

Despite the rain and challenging conditions, our students showed incredible resilience, determination, and team spirit every step of the way. 💪👏
