Year 12 Interview Skills

On Wednesday 27th March, Cookstown High School and Holy Trinity College hosted an Interview Skills event for Year 12 students. Each student had the opportunity to take part in a Shared Education Event in association with Eye4education. The aim was to prepare students and improve confidence in assessment methods and the application process for the working environment and further or higher education.

Pupils participated in a four staged assessment centre process.
Stage 1: Application pack that will include a job description and application form.
Stage 2: Aptitude testing centre, two tests completed during this stage.
Stage 3: Tips and Advice from Business Advisers followed by Group Assessments.
Stage 4: Individual interviews: Pupils will be interviewed based on their work experience, academic performance and general skills and qualities.
