Under the Radar Conference –Religion and Big Questions
On Friday 10th January, some of our Year 14 Religious Studies students attended the Under the Radar Conference, organised by Academy Conferences in partnership with the University of Oxford.
The speakers at the conference were Julie Arliss, Director and Founder of Academy Conferences, and Dr Andrew Pinsent who is Research Director of the Ian Ramsey Centre for Science and Religion at the Faculty of Theology in Oxford University. Some of the issues covered on the day included, does a snail have consciousness and is morality absolute or relative?
This was a brilliant opportunity for our students to explore some of their A level themes in more details.
