Jenny Thompson, a representative from the Magherafelt Trussel Trust Food Bank, visited Cookstown High School where she spoke to Year 14 Nutrition and Food Science pupils. She explained the work of Trussel Trust and the role of the food bank in tackling food poverty within the local area. She also highlighted some of the services and support offer through the food bank and their links with other professional bodies and charities. The Year 14 students were pleased to support the work of the food bank by donating a variety of foods.
