A number of junior pupils recently entered the Young Writers ‘Around the World in 80 Words’ short story writing competition. They were very successful and the work of thirty pupils is to be published in a compilation book entitled ‘Around the World in Eighty Words’. This book, which is being published in May, will also be sent to the British Library.
The entries were commended for their, ‘imagination, perception, expression, and creative use of language’ and our winning entries have progressed to the next stage of the competition where the judges will go on to select the overall winning schools in June.
