Shared Education Careers Convention
On Tuesday 12th February Cookstown High School and Holy Trinity College, Cookstown Year 12 & 13 students attended our inaugural Shared Education Careers Convention. In attendance were keynote speakers from Queen’s University Belfast (QUB) and Ulster University (UU). Representatives from the universities delivered presentations to Year 13 pupils and their parents/guardians about their application processes, the range of courses available, the entry requirements and the relevant experience, skills and qualities required. Year 12 and 13 students then attended the Careers Convention in Cookstown Leisure Centre visiting exhibition stands from a range of local and national employers, universities and college.
