Recently KS3 pupils were invited to participate in a fun ICT/Literacy House challenge online. The challenge for pupils was to copy type a passage in one minute and achieve the most words correctly typed, without errors in grammar or punctuation.
Well-developed keyboard skills will play an essential part in preparing our young people for the world of work, where most employers will be seeking competent and skilled applicants.
The highest achieving Key Stage 3 pupil was Nicole B in Yr8 who managed an amazing 42 words in a minute - all correctly spelt! Nicole has received a Gift Voucher and 5 House Points for Coolnafranky. The top performing pupils are pictured below.
