Motor Neurones Disease Christmas Card Competition

14th Dec 2020

Once again as part of the House Games, pupils in Year 8 – 10 took part in the annual Motor Neurones Disease ‘Design a Christmas Card competition’.

During LLW lessons over the last numbers of weeks, pupils were tasked with designing Christmas Cards for their House. For every card designed and submitted, House points were awarded.

The Christmas cards were submitted to the House leaders who each selected the 3 best cards from their House. These top 12 cards were sent to Mrs Allen to decide the overall winners. All of these 12 cards will be entered into the Motor Neurones Disease Association Christmas Card Competition where they will be considered among the other UK entries. The overall card selected will be made into an actual Christmas card and sold to raise money for the charity next year.
