Loughry College speaker for Year 13 Nutrition & Food Science students
22nd Feb 2019
Liz Simpson, a lecturer from Loughry College, paid a visit to the Year 13 Nutrition & Food Science pupils today. She spoke to them about the wide array of career options within the agri-food industry and also took the opportunity to explain the range of courses available at Loughry College. Food graduates remain in high demand and with the food sector recognised as ‘extremely important to the Northern Ireland economy’, there is an urgent need to address the skills gap facing the food and drink industry at management level.
