A big well done to all the girls who participated in the Girls’ Football Super Schools Festival at Mallusk Playing Fields on Wednesday 12th June.
We entered two teams, a combined Y8/9 and Y10/11. Unfortunately, neither team qualified for the semi-finals but despite this everyone showed commitment and an excellent attitude. Special mentions go to Sophie who scored two goals for the Y10/11 team and was voted player of the tournament. Jemma scored one for the Y8/9 with Sorca voted player of the tournament respectively. A final mention to Lilly who captained the 10/11 team and organised the squads pre-tournament.
