ENGLISH LITERATURE SHARED EDUCATION TRIP TO THE HEANEY CENTRE
20th Feb 2020
On Tuesday 11th February a group of Year 11 English Literature students from both Cookstown High School and Holy Trinity College travelled together to visit the Seamus Heaney Centre in Bellaghy. The event was planned as part of a Shared Education Experience between the two English Departments. Pupils enjoyed completing a tour of the centre, followed by a workshop and a lecture given on poems that the students will be studying for GCSE English Literature. It was a very worthwhile and enjoyable experience and all students enjoyed interacting in the various workshops and activities that were planned.
