I am delighted to attach the awarded certificate which shows the number of hours volunteering our young people have completed through their Awards in 2019/20, along with the social value this represents. I hope you will be very proud (as am I) of the amazing contribution to the local community.
Now more than ever, our communities need young people volunteering through their Award to support our most vulnerable neighbours and friends, and the conditions of the Award have been amended to allow young people to assist family members who may have been shielding. Our pupils have been made aware of this through the eDofE system, and this has allowed many to complete this section of their Award.
