Year 13 AS Nutrition and Food Science students enjoyed a visit from a past pupil, Gillian Abernethy this week. Gillian now works as a full-time paediatric dietitian specialising in renal, neurology and oncology in the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Belfast. Pupils enjoyed hearing about Gillian’s career path and her degree course and are now able to differentiate between the role of a dietitian and a nutritionist.
