FairAware is the first Fairtrade Schools Award and it involves finding out where our school is in terms of understanding Fairtrade and using Fairtrade products. Led by Dr. Kane in the Geography department, Year 10 pupils had the opportunity to complete questionnaires and engage in a range of lessons and activities to raise awareness of Fairtrade issues and products.
The aim of the award is to support young people and the whole school community to learn about trade, Fairtrade and the FAIRTRADE Mark, to celebrate our school achievements around Fairtrade and to promote Fairtrade certified products within our school community.
