Yesterday, the Chemistry Department took Y11 pupils to Queen’s University to see the ‘Chemistry at Work’ exhibition. This was a chance to see Chemistry being used in everyday life and what jobs Chemistry can offer. The companies that had a stand ranged from Norbrook pharmaceuticals to Bombardier. The pupils also had a chance to interact and take part in experiments.
Hopefully this day will give them an insight to future careers in the world of Chemistry’
