Art Trip to Belfast

On Friday 18th October 2019 GCSE and A-Level Art pupils went on their annual trip to Belfast.
In the morning they visited potter David McComiskey studio where he gave a talk and demonstration on the potter’s wheel. We then visited the Big Fish Public Sculpture that was designed by well-known ceramic designer John Kindness.
In the afternoon pupils visited the RUA exhibition at the Ulster Museum where they attended a talk given by fine artists Anthony Scott and Philip Mackey on their work.
