GCSE

Every pupil will sit the GCSE examinations, one of which is at the end of year 11 and the completion paper in year 12. For those pupils with a flair for the subject and proven ability, there is the opportunity to choose Further Mathematics (previously known as Additional Mathematics) as a GCSE subject. This is recommended for those pupils aspiring to study Mathematics at A level. All examinations are taken with the CCEA exam board and pupils have access to their recommended text books and exam papers.

Our aim is to consolidate and build upon the skills acquired at Key Stage 3 to ensure that pupils are prepared for the GCSE modules.
