Pupils currently follow the CCEA French/German and Spanish specifications. They take terminal examinations in Listening and Reading. Speaking and Writing are completed as Controlled Assessment Tasks and the oral component is conducted and assessed by the class teacher.
GCE
In the event that a language assistant is available (currently as a result of the Comenius Programme), in addition to timetabled classes, pupils attend language specific Conversation Classes.
