The course consists of three components:

·        Unit 1: Structures, trends, chemical reactions and analysis (35%)

·        Unit 2: Further chemical reactions, organic chemistry and materials (40%)

·        Unit 3: Practical Skills (25%) - this is based on a controlled assessment task (CAT)
