Journey of a lifetime for Marcelle

Marcelle works as a Special Needs Classroom Assistant in the Learning Support Centre here in the High School and has recently been chosen to be one of 8 leaders on this year’s Journey of a Lifetime Trust trip. There will be a total of 24 of some of the UK’s most disadvantaged youngsters involved. .....more

CHS reach the Burney Cup Semi-Finals

After defeating Friends the boys came up against Royal & Prior in the quarter final of the Burney Cup. Although Cookstown were heavy favourites the team were reminded of the final two years ago when an inferior Royal & Prior side almost defeated the all conquering Cookstown team.

Cookstown High School Senior Netball Squad have become the first Senior team in schools history to make the Northern Ireland League Final. This is one of the biggest competitions in Netball in Northern Ireland so it’s a massive achievement for CHS.....more
