13 3 13 3 - School Photography Competition

For the very first time the school will run a photography competition open to all students (and staff). The competition is sponsored by Lafarge Cookstown.

The competition theme is 13 3 13 3. Capture a moment in time at 13 minutes past 3pm on Saturday 13th March 2010.

The top prize will be a digital camera for the overall pupil winner. Prizes will also be made for the best photograph in each year group at key stage 3, a prize for years 11/12 and another for 6th form.

The categories are……..

- My place (where you live, the local environment, a landscape or a place of interest).

- What you were doing at 13 3 13 3, sport, work etc.

- Pets, family, friends, special people in your life.

- Or an image from these categories that has been enhanced or manipulated using photoshop.

It is our intention to put as many of the photographs on display, use a number for a possible school calendar next year and frame the best for permanent display.
