Year 8 Netball League Finals

CHS took along two Year 8 netball squads to play in the PSNI Cross-Community league finals just before Easter. 12 teams were involved in the competition.

Cookstown’s ‘A’ team defeated all teams in their section. Cookstown ‘B’ team finished runners up in their section and went on to play St. Joseph’s Donaghmore for 3 rd place medals. Cookstown ‘B’s emerged victorous defeating them 5 goals to 4. Meanwhile, Cookstown ‘A’ squad took on St. Patricks Academy in the final and emerged 6 – 4 winners to bring the trophy back home to Cookstown.

Year 8 ‘B’ Squad: Lauren B, Dorcis J, Katie S, Lyndsey H, Leah W, Naomi G, Dannielle L, Anita B, Lynsey G, Kyra B
