UNDER 13 HOCKEY TEAM PROGRESS TO BANNISTER BOWL FINAL

Last week was a very busy week for the Under 13 team. On Wednesday they played RBAI in the Bannister Bowl quarter final. After a shaky start, the boys started to play some excellent hockey and goals by Mitchell G and Ryan D secured a 3-1 victory.

Old rivals Banbridge Academy were next up in the semi final on Friday. The 4.15pm start time seemed to inspire the team and they put in probably their best ever performance. A goal midway through the first half by Glenn B settled the nerves. A second goal midway through the second half secured a well deserved victory for Daniel C and his team.

We wish the Under 13 team under the captaincy of Daniel C all the best for the Bannister Bowl final which will be held on Wednesday 12th March at Lisnagarvey Hockey Club at 1pm.
