Year 10 PSNI Tournament

Cookstown High Junior Squad once again won the P.S.N.I. Cross- Community Tournament this year.

On Friday 8th February our year 10 team went to Dungannon Leisure Centre to play in an all day P.S.N.I. Cross-Community Tournament.

These Cross-Community Tournaments and leagues are kindly funded by Dungannon P.S.N.I. and is greatly appreciated by all the schools who take part.

The results were as follows:

Cookstown VS Omagh High School (11-5)

Cookstown VS Fivemiletown H.S. (13-3)

Cookstown VS Integrated (9-3)

In the final they met St Patrick’s Academy. Cookstown were leading at half time by 5 goals to 4 but through good team work and a great effort, Cookstown dominated the second half, defeating St Pats 13 - 6
