Drugs talk - Speaking from Experience

On Thursday 15^th February Jackie Burke came to school to speak to the Year 11 pupils at what has become an annual event.

He held their attention for one and one half hours as he told his life story including his successful battle with drugs.

Later the pupils had a chance to ask Jackie questions which he answered frankly and from his own experience.

The talk left no-one in any doubt about the addictive nature of drugs and the dangers associated with them.
