She stoops to Conquer - Christmas Production 2006

As Christmas approaches so does the Cookstown High School Society for Music and Drama's Annual Production at the Burnavon Centre.

This Year we are presenting 'She Stoops to Conquer' by Oliver Goldsmith

It tells the story of Squire Hardcastle who wants his daughter Kate to marry the son of his old friend, Sir Charles Marlow. His wife is also determined that their son, Tony, should marry her niece Constance. The Hardcastle family are expecting the arrival of young Charles Marlow and his friend Hastings. Unfortunately, the visitors stop at the local alehouse to enquire their way and so begins the web of mistaken identities and miscommunication!
