Cookstown High School Intermediate Netball Team win league

Congratulations to Cookstown High School Intermediate Netball Team who won the PSNI cross-community netball league finals on Monday 12 December 2005 in Cookstown Leisure Centre.

PSNI Dungannon kindly sponsored the event and their continued support for the 5 netball tournaments and league finals in the Cookstown and Dungannon council areas is greatly appreciated by all participating schools.

To reach the final Cookstown played:
Fivemiletown High School won 30 – 14
Drumglass High School won 26 – 13
St Patrick’s Academy lost 16 – 14
Integrated College Dungannon won 19 – 16

In the final Cookstown again played St Patrick’s Academy however this time Cookstown emerged the victors, winning quite convincingly 24 – 14.

This is the fourth year in succession that Cookstown have won this shield.
